“You were imagined before you were born. And you are loved.”

Her closing words were just the right kind of benediction. We all need to welcome those truths in and hold them tight.

It’s why I tell my kids about being “in the mind of God” before they were born. So when looking at old photos of videos, if they are not yet born in them, they will say with solid confidence, “I was in the mind of God then.” They know they were never alone and have been faithfully kept and that the Lord’s care for them will continue always and forever.

“It’s really good to be travelling with you.” Let us use our imagination to manifest all of the good, true, noble, and marvelous things, and let’s do it together.

P.S. I’m so bummed I missed out on Cofferstowe when it happened. Do you know of any similar gatherings still happening now? I’ve been blessed by the Square Halo conferences but I love the idea of intentionally keeping the gathering small to allow for shared meals and shared lodging. GRACIAS.

Trina! So glad you enjoyed Christa’s talk, and are enjoying the podcast, in general. As for other retreats, they’re definitely out there. The main organizations I follow doing this kind of thing are The Anselm Society in Colorado Springs, the C.S. Lewis Foundation, Rabbit Room, and Square Halo.

I’ll just have to keep my eyes open in those places. Thanks for the info! I was so sad to hear in the next episode after this that Cofferstowe 2019 didn’t happen. I can only begin to imagine the disappointment after the careful planning that had already been started. May God continue to strengthen communities of believers who nurture each other and make concerted effort to connect, refresh, and go forth with feet shod with the preparation of the Gospel of Peace.
